    1-1                                AN ACT
    1-2  relating to the use of deer and turkey tags issued by the Parks and
    1-3  Wildlife Department.
    1-4        BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
    1-5        SECTION 1.  Section 42.018(b), Parks and Wildlife Code, is
    1-6  amended to read as follows:
    1-7        (b)  A tag is properly executed only when the month and the
    1-8  date of the kill are cut out and the tag <it> is filled out to show
    1-9  the <date and> place the deer to which the tag is attached was
   1-10  killed and to show other information required on the tag by the
   1-11  commission.
   1-12        SECTION 2.  Section 42.0185(b), Parks and Wildlife Code, is
   1-13  amended to read as follows:
   1-14        (b)  A turkey tag is properly executed only when the month
   1-15  and the date of the kill are cut out and the tag <it> is filled out
   1-16  to show the <date and> place the turkey to which the tag is
   1-17  attached was killed and to show other information required on the
   1-18  tag.
   1-19        SECTION 3.  This Act takes effect September 1, 1993.
   1-20        SECTION 4.  The importance of this legislation and the
   1-21  crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an
   1-22  emergency   and   an   imperative   public   necessity   that   the
   1-23  constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several
   1-24  days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended.
