1-19 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
1-20 AN ACT
1-21 relating to the use of deer and turkey tags issued by the Parks and
1-22 Wildlife Department.
1-23 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1-24 SECTION 1. Section 42.018(b), Parks and Wildlife Code, is
1-25 amended to read as follows:
1-26 (b) A tag is properly executed only when the month and the
1-27 date of the kill are cut out and the tag <it> is filled out to show
1-28 the <date and> place the deer to which the tag is attached was
1-29 killed and to show other information required on the tag by the
1-30 commission.
1-31 SECTION 2. Section 42.0185(b), Parks and Wildlife Code, is
1-32 amended to read as follows:
1-33 (b) A turkey tag is properly executed only when the month
1-34 and the date of the kill are cut out and the tag <it> is filled out
1-35 to show the <date and> place the turkey to which the tag is
1-36 attached was killed and to show other information required on the
1-37 tag.
1-38 SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 1993.
1-39 SECTION 4. The importance of this legislation and the
1-40 crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an
1-41 emergency and an imperative public necessity that the
1-42 constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several
1-43 days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended.
