Section 124.062, Election Code, is amended by 1-21 adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: 1-22 (d) In an election in which a punch-card ballot is used and 1-23 straight-party voting is permitted, the secretary of state shall 1-24 assign a uniform number position on the ballot to each political 1-25 party to correspond to a straight-party vote. 1-26 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 1993. 1-27 SECTION 3.
