Section 14(c), Vehicle Storage Facility Act 1-26 (Article 6687-9a, Revised Statutes), is amended to read as follows: 1-27 (c) The operator of a vehicle storage facility may not 1-28 charge less than $5 or more than $15 for each day or part of a day 1-29 for storage of a vehicle. A daily storage fee may be charged for a 1-30 day regardless of whether the vehicle is stored for 24 hours of the 1-31 day, except that a daily storage fee may not be charged for more 1-32 than one day if the vehicle remains at the vehicle storage facility 1-33 less than 12 hours. For the purposes of this subsection, a day is 1-34 considered to begin and end at midnight. 1-35 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 1993. 1-36 SECTION 3.
