                                 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
    1-1 AN ACT
1-2 relating to the suspension or removal of employees of the Webb
    1-3 County Juvenile Board.
1-4 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
1-5 SECTION 1. Section 152.2461(d), Human Resources Code, is
1-6 amended to read as follows:
1-7 (d) The juvenile board may require a board employee to enter
1-8 into a bond payable to the board, conditioned on the faithful
1-9 performance of the person's duties. The board shall pay the
1-10 premium of the bond. The board may suspend or remove an employee
1-11 for good cause. The board may permit the chief juvenile probation
1-12 officer to suspend or remove employees whom the chief juvenile
   1-13 probation officer may supervise.
1-14 SECTION 2. The importance of this legislation and the
1-15 crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an
1-16 emergency and an imperative public necessity that the
1-17 constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several
1-18 days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended,
1-19 and that this Act take effect and be in force from and after its
1-20 passage, and it is so enacted.
