No. 50 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 1-1 WHEREAS, State law provides that at a convenient time at the 1-2 commencement of each regular session of the legislature, the chief 1-3 justice of the supreme court shall deliver a "state of the 1-4 judiciary" message evaluating the accessibility of the courts to 1-5 the citizens of the state and the future directions and needs of 1-6 the courts; now, therefore, be it 1-7 RESOLVED by the Legislature of the State of Texas, That the 1-8 Senate and House of Representatives meet in joint session in the 1-9 Hall of the House of Representatives at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, 1-10 February 23, 1993; and, be it further 1-11 RESOLVED, That the Honorable Tom Phillips, chief justice of 1-12 the Supreme Court of Texas, be, and he is hereby, invited to 1-13 address the Regular Session of the 73rd Legislature on the subject 1-14 of the state's judiciary at that time. 1-15 Thompson of Harris 1-16 H.C.R.
