                                 CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
    1-1        WHEREAS, Managing and promoting the professional careers of
    1-2  some of today's most talented performers, Dolores Robinson has,
    1-3  through determination and hard work, contributed to the quality of
    1-4  the entertainment industry; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, With a special flair for identifying, developing,
    1-6  and promoting the natural talents of her clients, Ms. Robinson has
    1-7  gained a reputation of excellence throughout Hollywood circles;
    1-8  managing such top stars as Levar Burton, Martin Sheen, Emilio
    1-9  Estevez, Randy Quaid, Harry Hamlin, and Wesley Snipes, her list of
   1-10  successes is extensive; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, A close friend of the late actor Cleavon Little,
   1-12  Ms. Robinson first stepped into the management business as a
   1-13  receptionist for Mr. Little's agent; a fast learner, she formed her
   1-14  own management company, Dolores Robinson Entertainment, in 1976;
   1-15  and
   1-16        WHEREAS, Today, with 17 years of experience to her credit,
   1-17  Ms. Robinson's professional demeanor and shrewd negotiating skills
   1-18  are in high demand; her daughter, Holly Robinson, trusts in her
   1-19  mother's abilities to manage her own blossoming acting career; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, Ms. Robinson's flourishing career stands as a
   1-21  shining example of success in the field of entertainment, and she
   1-22  is indeed deserving of special legislative recognition for her
   1-23  inspiring commitment to excellence; now, therefore, be it
   1-24        RESOLVED, That the 73rd Legislature of the State of Texas
    2-1  hereby commend Dolores Robinson for her outstanding contributions
    2-2  to the entertainment industry; and, be it further
    2-3        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-4  prepared for Ms. Robinson as an expression of high regard by the
    2-5  Legislature of the State of Texas.
