H.C.R. No. 174
                              HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
    1-1        WHEREAS, H.B. No. 1962 has been passed by the house of
    1-2  representatives and the senate and has been sent to the governor;
    1-3  and
    1-4        WHEREAS, The text set out in enrolled H.B. No. 1962 omits the
    1-5  word "not" from added Section 54.711(b)(6), Water Code, and thereby
    1-6  changes the effect of the provision to a meaning not intended by
    1-7  the legislature; now, therefore, be it
    1-8        RESOLVED by the 73rd Legislature of the State of Texas, That
    1-9  the governor be hereby requested to return H.B. No. 1962 to the
   1-10  house of representatives; and, be it further
   1-11        RESOLVED, That the action of the president of the senate and
   1-12  the speaker of the house of representatives in signing
   1-13  H.B. No. 1962 be declared null and void and that the two presiding
   1-14  officers be authorized to remove their signatures from the enrolled
   1-15  bill; and, be it further
   1-16        RESOLVED, That the enrolling clerk of the house of
   1-17  representatives be instructed to make the following change to
   1-18  H.B. No. 1962:
   1-19        In Section 1 of the bill, in added Subsection (b)(6) of
   1-20  amended Section 54.711, Water Code, insert "not" between "issued"
   1-21  and "more".
