1-26 follows:
1-27 (h) The Commissioners Court of a county may call an election

1-36 subsection, the maps, field notes, and other records in the custody
1-37 of the County Surveyor are transferred to the county officer or
1-38 employee designated by the Commissioners Court of the county in
1-39 which the office is abolished, and the Commissioners Court may from
1-40 time to time change its designation as it considers appropriate.
