                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, For each of the last 30 years, the Austin Junior
    1-2  Chamber of Commerce has sponsored an Annual Legislative Seminar to
    1-3  further its goals of civic service and education of the business
    1-4  community; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, The nationally recognized seminar brings together
    1-6  over 500 young and successful community leaders from across the
    1-7  state to learn about the legislative process through participating
    1-8  in a "mock" session of the legislature; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, The Austin Junior Chamber of Commerce has requested
   1-10  use of the House Chamber and committee hearing rooms in the John H.
   1-11  Reagan Building on Saturday, January 23, 1993, for conducting the
   1-12  legislative session; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, The Texas House of  Representatives endorses the
   1-14  goals of the Annual Legislative Seminar and applauds the Austin
   1-15  Junior Chamber of Commerce for sponsoring the valuable program;
   1-16  now, therefore, be it
   1-17        RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
   1-18  Legislature that, in accordance with the house rules and the
   1-19  policies of the house administration committee, the Austin Junior
   1-20  Chamber of Commerce be hereby granted permission to use the chamber
   1-21  of the Texas House of Representatives and the committee hearing
   1-22  rooms of the John H. Reagan Building on January 23, 1993, from
   1-23  8 a.m.  to 5 p.m., for the purpose of conducting the 30th Annual
   1-24  Legislative Seminar, provided that the house of representatives is
    2-1  not in session; and, be it further
    2-2        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-3  prepared for the Austin Junior Chamber of Commerce as an expression
    2-4  of highest esteem by the Texas House of Representatives.
