                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The many friends and relatives of Naomi Doyle were
    1-2  deeply saddened by the passing of this beloved woman on December
    1-3  16, 1992; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, A native Texan, Mrs. Doyle was born in Tioga but
    1-5  later moved to Fort Worth, where she lived for 60 years; she was a
    1-6  charter member of the Diamond Oaks Country Club in Fort Worth and
    1-7  contributed much of her time and talent to the Riverside Lions
    1-8  Club; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, After moving to Granbury in 1980, this spirited
   1-10  individual remained active in community affairs as a member of
   1-11  First Baptist Church, DeCordova Bend Country Club, Rock Harbor
   1-12  Rockettes, and Pecan Plantation Country Club; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Mrs. Doyle was a devoted mother who took great pride
   1-14  in the accomplishments of her daughter, Peggy, and enjoyed the love
   1-15  of two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; she delighted in
   1-16  making a warm and supportive home for her loving husband, Dr. Frank
   1-17  Doyle, and family; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, Naomi Doyle will long be remembered by all who were
   1-19  privileged to know her, and though her presence is gone from us
   1-20  now, her unique spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of
   1-21  the many people whose lives she touched; now, therefore, be it
   1-22        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
   1-23  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Naomi Doyle and
   1-24  extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
    2-1  husband, Dr. Frank Doyle of Granbury; to her daughter, Peggy Peek
    2-2  of Saginaw; to her mother, Mable Huffman of Fort Worth; to her
    2-3  brother, Judge John Ford of Fort Worth; to her two grandchildren;
    2-4  to her two great-grandchildren; and to all the friends and family
    2-5  of this fine woman; and, be it further
    2-6        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-7  prepared for the members of her family and that when the Texas
    2-8  House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of
    2-9  Naomi Doyle.
