H.R. No. 44
                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The administration, faculty, and student body of
    1-2  Meadow High School are justifiably proud of the achievements
    1-3  attained by the many bright and talented students who have
    1-4  represented the school in University Interscholastic League
    1-5  competition; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Among those accomplishments during the 1991-92
    1-7  academic year was the impressive performance of Cody Andrews, who
    1-8  represented Meadow High School at the state track meet and finished
    1-9  second in the 200-meter race against some of the best young
   1-10  athletes in Texas; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, A member of the National Honor Society and the
   1-12  Meadow High School Student Council, Cody Andrews exemplifies the
   1-13  standards of excellence that have made the school a source of pride
   1-14  for the entire community, and in doing so he serves as a role model
   1-15  for all of his fellow students; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, The achievements of Meadow High School participants
   1-17  in UIL academic and athletic competition represent a small part of
   1-18  an outstanding year for all of the students at Meadow High School,
   1-19  and the remarkable spirit and ability that these young people have
   1-20  displayed ensure that the future of Texas is in capable hands; now,
   1-21  therefore, be it
   1-22        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
   1-23  Legislature hereby commend Cody Andrews and all the students of
   1-24  Meadow High School for their numerous academic and athletic
    2-1  achievements and honors throughout the 1991-92 school year and
    2-2  extend to all of them warmest best wishes for many more years of
    2-3  continued success; and, be it further
    2-4        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-5  prepared for them as an expression of high regard by the Texas
    2-6  House of Representatives.
