H.R. No. 46
                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives takes special
    1-2  pleasure in congratulating the students of the Seagraves
    1-3  Independent School District, who achieved first place in the
    1-4  1991-1992 State University Interscholastic League One-Act Play
    1-5  competition for their impressive performance of Death of a
    1-6  Salesman; and
    1-7        WHEREAS, Bringing talent and hard work to their production of
    1-8  Arthur Miller's most celebrated work were the following talented
    1-9  students:  Ovidio Martinez, Jr., Mandy Durham, Kris Allen, Sam
   1-10  Kemper, Chris Harper, Catrina McDaniel, David Ingle, Angelica
   1-11  Sanchez, Brandee Purcell, Tara Hill, Rosie Rodriguez, Traci Yocom,
   1-12  Rene' Hernandez, and Christie Anderson; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, The play's resounding success was further
   1-14  embellished when three cast members were recognized individually
   1-15  for their fine performances:  Ovidio Martinez, Jr., was named Best
   1-16  Actor and honored with the Samuel French award, while Kris Allen
   1-17  garnered an All-Star Cast award and Mandy Durham received All-Star
   1-18  Cast honorable mention; and
   1-19        WHEREAS, The members of this award-winning production have
   1-20  brought acclaim and recognition to the students, parents, and
   1-21  faculty of the Seagraves Independent School District and to their
   1-22  community as a whole, and they are indeed deserving of special
   1-23  commendation; now, therefore, be it
   1-24        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 72nd Texas
    2-1  Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby congratulate the cast,
    2-2  crew, and director of the Seagraves Independent School District's
    2-3  Death of a Salesman production on their victory in the 1991-1992
    2-4  State UIL One-Act Play competition; and, be it further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
    2-6  for the members of this exemplary production and their director as
    2-7  an expression of highest esteem by the Texas House of
    2-8  Representatives.
