                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
    1-2  the many fine students of the Loop Independent School District who
    1-3  have excelled at every level of University Interscholastic League
    1-4  academic and athletic competition; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Among the many students from the district who shined
    1-6  in local, regional, and statewide competition during the 1991-1992
    1-7  school year were Libby Watson, one of the top five competitors in
    1-8  the state in prose interpretation, and Christi Gwyn, one of the six
    1-9  state finalists in feature writing; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, Their accomplishments are a source of justifiable
   1-11  pride to the students and faculty of Loop Independent School
   1-12  District and the greater community; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Outstanding representatives of their school, these
   1-14  exceptional students proved the value of hard work, dedication, and
   1-15  an unwavering faith in their own capabilities, and their impressive
   1-16  achievements, which reflect the community's commitment to
   1-17  excellence in academic and athletic endeavors, are indeed worthy of
   1-18  special legislative praise and recognition; now, therefore, be it
   1-19        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 72nd Texas
   1-20  Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby recognize all of the
   1-21  students of the Loop Independent School District who have
   1-22  enthusiastically participated in UIL activities and extend
   1-23  congratulations to Libby Watson and Christi Gwyn on their
   1-24  performance in 1991-1992 state UIL competition; and, be it further
    2-1        RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
    2-2  for presentation to these exceptional students as an expression of
    2-3  high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
