                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
    1-2  the many fine students of Sundown High School who recently achieved
    1-3  outstanding success in University Interscholastic League
    1-4  competition; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, One of these students, Natalie Thoms, turned in an
    1-6  especially noteworthy performance as she captured second place in
    1-7  golf in the UIL state competition that matched her skills with the
    1-8  very best of Texas' young golfers; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, The faculty and staff at Sundown High School are to
   1-10  be congratulated for the superb instruction and support they have
   1-11  provided to Ms.  Thoms and all the fine students who
   1-12  enthusiastically participate in academic and athletic competitions
   1-13  throughout the year; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, A truly exceptional institution and student body,
   1-15  Sundown High School and all the participating Sundown students have
   1-16  achieved commendable success through their participation in UIL
   1-17  competition and have brought great pride to their community; now,
   1-18  therefore, be it
   1-19        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 72nd Texas
   1-20  Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby congratulate the
   1-21  participating students, faculty, and staff of Sundown High School
   1-22  for their excellent performance in the UIL competition in 1991 and
   1-23  1992; and, be it further
   1-24        RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
    2-1  for Natalie Thoms and for prominent display at Sundown High School
    2-2  as an expression of high esteem by the Texas House of
    2-3  Representatives.
