H.R. No. 65 R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor 1-2 Gabriel Vincent Morin on his noteworthy achievement in attaining 1-3 the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout; and 1-4 WHEREAS, This exceptional young man has demonstrated 1-5 exemplary dedication to the high ideals of scouting and commendable 1-6 perseverance in the pursuit of his goals; and 1-7 WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is an extremely rare 1-8 honor, bestowed on less than two percent of those who enter the 1-9 scouting movement, and by successfully fulfilling those 1-10 requirements, Gabriel Vincent Morin has achieved a truly remarkable 1-11 feat; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Befitting his newly attained rank among scouting's 1-13 elite, Eagle Scout Morin will be duly recognized for his 1-14 praiseworthy achievements and receive his silver insignia in a 1-15 ceremony to be held on January 23, 1993, at the Church of Jesus 1-16 Christ of Latter Day Saints in San Antonio; and 1-17 WHEREAS, Exemplifying scouting's highest ideals, Gabriel 1-18 Vincent Morin has been a source of great pride for his parents, 1-19 Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Morin, and an inspiration to his fellow troop 1-20 members, and it is indeed appropriate that this deserving young man 1-21 receive special legislative recognition; now, therefore, be it 1-22 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas 1-23 Legislature hereby congratulate Gabriel Vincent Morin on his 1-24 noteworthy accomplishment in attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and 2-1 earning the right to wear the cherished silver eagle badge; and, be 2-2 it further 2-3 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-4 prepared for Eagle Scout Morin as an expression of high regard by 2-5 the Texas House of Representatives. 2-6 the Texas House of Representatives. 2-7 Puente 2-8 H.R.
