H.R. No. 92 R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives takes special 1-2 pride in honoring Margaret Bonner, Dorothy Frei, Linda Johnson, and 1-3 Kathy Leyden for their outstanding contributions to the field of 1-4 education as teachers with the Academy Independent School District; 1-5 and 1-6 WHEREAS, These fine educators bring to their classrooms each 1-7 day a wealth of valuable knowledge and expertise gained over the 1-8 course of a decade of distinguished service with the district; and 1-9 WHEREAS, All are highly regarded members of their profession 1-10 who have earned well-deserved recognition from their peers for 1-11 their proven ability to motivate students, their instructional 1-12 efficiency, and the cooperative manner in which they work with 1-13 their colleagues and members of the administration; and 1-14 WHEREAS, Throughout their exemplary tenure with the district, 1-15 they have each served as an inspiration to their colleagues in the 1-16 teaching profession and have won a special place in the hearts of 1-17 many of their students; it is indeed appropriate that they be 1-18 honored for their continuing contributions in this regard; now, 1-19 therefore, be it 1-20 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas 1-21 Legislature hereby honor Margaret Bonner, Dorothy Frei, Linda 1-22 Johnson, and Kathy Leyden for a decade of distinguished service as 1-23 educators with the Academy Independent School District; and, be it 1-24 further 2-1 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-2 prepared for these exceptional teachers as an expression of high 2-3 regard by the Texas House of Representatives. 2-4 regard by the Texas House of Representatives. 2-5 Black 2-6 H.R.
