                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, Tabetha Estes was recently honored by the Harlandale
    1-2  Lions Club for her exemplary record of academic achievement, and
    1-3  this special recognition is indeed well deserved; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, Each year the Harlandale Lions Club recognizes
    1-5  students with high academic honors through its Project LEARN
    1-6  program, encouraging middle school students to continue to strive
    1-7  for excellence as they proceed with their studies throughout their
    1-8  years in middle and senior high school; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Tabetha is an outstanding seventh grade student at
   1-10  Kingsborough Middle School who was honored by this fine
   1-11  organization for having earned the highest grade point average of a
   1-12  student in her grade during the second nine weeks of school; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Tabetha Estes has demonstrated exceptional
   1-14  initiative and maturity in successfully pursuing her studies;
   1-15  inspiring all who know her with her enthusiasm for learning, she is
   1-16  a source of great pride to her family and the faculty and students
   1-17  of Kingsborough Middle School; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, The fine accomplishment of this student leader truly
   1-19  merits special legislative recognition and commendation; now,
   1-20  therefore, be it
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
   1-22  Legislature hereby congratulate Tabetha Estes on her academic
   1-23  success and extend to her best wishes for continued happiness and
   1-24  success throughout the years to come; and, be it further
    2-1        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-2  prepared for Tabetha Estes as an expression of high regard by the
    2-3  Texas House of Representatives.
