                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, Jennifer Ramon was recently honored by the
    1-2  Harlandale Lions Club for her exemplary academic achievements, and
    1-3  this special recognition is bestowed only on those who have shown
    1-4  consistent academic excellence; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, The Harlandale Lions Club annually recognizes
    1-6  special academic achievement through its Project LEARN program,
    1-7  encouraging middle school students to consistently strive for
    1-8  excellence as they pursue their studies throughout the demanding
    1-9  years in middle and senior high school; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, Jennifer Ramon is an outstanding sixth grade student
   1-11  at Kingsborough Middle School in San Antonio who was honored for
   1-12  having earned the highest grade point average of a student in her
   1-13  grade during the second six weeks of school; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, By demonstrating exceptional dedication and
   1-15  initiative in successfully fulfilling her academic goals, this
   1-16  outstanding young person has inspired all who know her with her
   1-17  love of the learning experience, and she is a great source of pride
   1-18  to her family and the faculty and students at Kingsborough Middle
   1-19  School; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, The many accomplishments of this fine student truly
   1-21  merit special legislative recognition and commendation; now,
   1-22  therefore, be it
   1-23        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
   1-24  Legislature hereby congratulate Jennifer Ramon on her noteworthy
    2-1  academic accomplishments and extend to her best wishes for
    2-2  continued happiness and success in the future; and, be it further
    2-3        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-4  prepared for Jennifer Ramon as an expression of high regard by the
    2-5  Texas House of Representatives.
