                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, Raymond and Inez Barclay have shared 50 joyous years
    1-2  together as husband and wife, and their wedding anniversary is a
    1-3  memorable occasion worthy of special legislative recognition; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, United in matrimony in San Diego, California, on
    1-5  February 20, 1943, this special couple has forged a strong and
    1-6  loving bond over the years, allowing them to comfort and support
    1-7  each other at all times and to rejoice in the many celebrations and
    1-8  successes of their wonderful life together; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, With a spirit of sharing and trust as a basis for
   1-10  this lasting relationship, their mutual love and respect have grown
   1-11  with each passing year, and their enduring marriage has been a
   1-12  source of joy and inspiration to their many friends and relatives;
   1-13  and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Blessed by a loving family that has grown to include
   1-15  two daughters, Vickie Lynne and Kathy Marie, and two grandchildren,
   1-16  Raymond and Mollie, the love between these two will remain a legacy
   1-17  for generations to come; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, For half a century, Mr. and Mrs. Barclay have shared
   1-19  a marriage filled with many happy times and cherished family
   1-20  memories; still young at heart and looking forward to each day with
   1-21  the same enthusiasm that first sparked their romance, they have
   1-22  made their love a source of encouragement and joy, inspiring all
   1-23  who have been privileged to know them; now, therefore, be it
   1-24        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
    2-1  Legislature hereby congratulate Raymond and Inez Barclay on the
    2-2  occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary and extend warmest best
    2-3  wishes to this lovely couple for continued happiness in the years
    2-4  to come; and, be it further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-6  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Barclay as an expression of high regard
    2-7  by the Texas House of Representatives.
