                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, Helen Marie Dey and Robert Barrett "Doc" Greene
    1-2  searched four continents and as many decades to find the perfect
    1-3  mate; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, On February 14, 1993, Doc "Holiday" Greene dealt
    1-5  Ms. Dey, who is the legislative aide to Representative Libby
    1-6  Linebarger, a hand that she couldn't refuse and, being a true
    1-7  player, she accepted his offer to engage in a game for life; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, The State Capitol is a meeting place where people
    1-9  with divergent views from throughout the state are brought together
   1-10  for lasting solutions; as such, the building also is an appropriate
   1-11  place for two individuals to come together and become one through
   1-12  the bonds of holy matrimony; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives strongly believes
   1-14  in the sanctity of marriage and encourages the matrimonial state
   1-15  and recognizes the marriage ceremony as a very special event in the
   1-16  lives of this devoted couple and their respective families and
   1-17  friends; now, therefore, be it
   1-18        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
   1-19  Legislature hereby honor Helen Marie Dey and Robert Barrett "Doc"
   1-20  Greene on the joyous occasion of their wedding; and, be it further
   1-21        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
   1-22  Legislature, in accordance with house rules and policies of the
   1-23  House Administration Committee and in recognition of the high
   1-24  stakes of this venture, hereby grant Helen Marie Dey and Robert
    2-1  Barrett "Doc" Greene permission to use the house chamber on June
    2-2  12, 1993, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., for the purpose of holding their
    2-3  wedding ceremony; and, be it further
    2-4        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-5  prepared for the happy couple as an expression of highest regard by
    2-6  the Texas House of Representatives.
