No. 417 R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, Leadership Waco is a program of the Greater Waco 1-2 Chamber of Commerce designed to identify and develop potential 1-3 community leaders; and 1-4 WHEREAS, Participants in Leadership Waco have a unique 1-5 opportunity to become more aware of the dynamics of the social and 1-6 economic factors affecting the Waco community, while preparing for 1-7 leadership roles for the future; and 1-8 WHEREAS, As a program dedicated to public service, Leadership 1-9 Waco provides a reservoir of capable civic-minded individuals 1-10 committed to lending their time and talents to a broad range of 1-11 community activities; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Participants in the program have traveled to Austin 1-13 to enhance their knowledge of state government by observing the 1-14 legislative process; now, therefore, be it 1-15 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas 1-16 Legislature hereby commend the participants in the Leadership Waco 1-17 program and extend them a hearty welcome to the Capitol; and, be it 1-18 further 1-19 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 1-20 prepared for these future community leaders as a memento of their 1-21 visit to the Capitol. 1-22 Denton 1-23 H.R.
