H.R. No. 571
                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, Troy Aikman has shown outstanding leadership,
    1-2  compassion, and a deep commitment to serving his community by
    1-3  establishing the Troy Aikman Foundation; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, The Troy Aikman Foundation is dedicated to providing
    1-5  financial support for the physical, psychological, social, and
    1-6  educational needs of dependent children whose special needs are not
    1-7  being met, either in whole or in part, by any other viable
    1-8  resource; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, The Troy Aikman Foundation and its dedicated donors
   1-10  and volunteers work diligently to provide a positive impact on many
   1-11  young lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and are an asset to the
   1-12  community and the public good; now, therefore, be it
   1-13        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
   1-14  Legislature hereby commend Troy Aikman and the Troy Aikman
   1-15  Foundation, its management, donors, and volunteers for their
   1-16  compassion, commitment to public service, and dedication to
   1-17  ensuring that the quality of life of so many needy children is
   1-18  improved; and, be it further
   1-19        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
   1-20  prepared for Troy Aikman, chairman of the Troy Aikman Foundation,
   1-21  as an expression of esteem by the Texas House of Representatives.
