                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, April 4, 1993, was indeed a special day for William
    1-2  "Action" Jackson and his lovely wife, Nancy Ann Jackson, for it was
    1-3  on that day that they became the proud parents of an adorable baby
    1-4  girl, Katharine Elizabeth Hofer Jackson; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Katharine weighed in at 7 pounds 7 ounces and
    1-6  measured 20-1/4 inches in length when she was born at 7:21 p.m. at
    1-7  Southwest Memorial Hospital in Houston; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, The long-awaited arrival of this charming new Texan
    1-9  has brought great joy to her delighted grandparents, John and Ann
   1-10  Jackson and Ted and Julie Young; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and a winning
   1-12  personality, Katharine Elizabeth Hofer Jackson has indeed
   1-13  brightened the lives of everyone around her, and she is a
   1-14  tremendous source of pride and joy to her family and many new
   1-15  admirers; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, The members of this chamber take great pleasure in
   1-17  officially announcing her birth and honoring her parents; now,
   1-18  therefore, be it
   1-19        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
   1-20  Legislature hereby officially welcome Katharine Elizabeth Hofer
   1-21  Jackson as a new citizen of Texas and extend sincere
   1-22  congratulations to William and Nancy Ann Jackson on the birth of
   1-23  their fine new daughter; and, be it further
   1-24        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-1  forwarded to Katharine, her parents, and her grandparents as an
    2-2  expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
