                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, August 28, 1990, was indeed a special day for Gary
    1-2  C. Long and his lovely wife, Robin Sanders Long, for it was on this
    1-3  day that they celebrated the birth of their beautiful daughter,
    1-4  Kelsey Annette Long; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Kelsey weighed in at 8 pounds, 3 ounces and measured
    1-6  22-1/2 inches in length when she made her debut at Abington
    1-7  Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and a winning
    1-9  personality, this charming little girl has indeed brightened the
   1-10  lives of everyone around her; she is a tremendous source of pride
   1-11  and joy to her family, especially to her devoted grandparents, Bill
   1-12  and Doris Long and Gil and Ann Sanders; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Although her parents currently reside in Sholt
   1-14  Hills, New Jersey, it is readily apparent that such a bright and
   1-15  promising child is most deserving of the great honor of Texas
   1-16  citizenship; now, therefore, be it
   1-17        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
   1-18  Legislature hereby name Kelsey Annette Long as an honorary citizen
   1-19  of Texas and extend congratulations to Gary and Robin Long on the
   1-20  birth of their delightful daughter; and, be it further
   1-21        RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
   1-22  for Kelsey, her parents, and her grandparents as an expression of
   1-23  high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
