R E S O L U T I O N
1-1 WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives takes special
1-2 pleasure in honoring Patricia Garza on the occasion of her
1-3 graduation from the University of Houston on May 15, 1993; and
1-4 WHEREAS, Recognized by professors and students alike to be an
1-5 exemplary scholar, Ms. Garza will receive a bachelor of arts degree
1-6 in journalism; during her studies at the University of Houston,
1-7 this outstanding young Texan has specialized in public relations
1-8 and demonstrated a firm commitment to hard work and academic
1-9 excellence; and
1-10 WHEREAS, A participant in the Rodney Ellis Professional
1-11 Internship Program, she has gained expertise and experience in her
1-12 field as a Capitol staff intern during the 73rd Texas Legislature;
1-13 Ms. Garza currently serves as legislative assistant in the office
1-14 of Representative Mario Gallegos, Jr., and her talent and
1-15 intelligence will be greatly missed by all who have had the
1-16 pleasure of working with her; now, therefore, be it
1-17 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
1-18 Legislature hereby recognize Patricia Garza on the occasion of her
1-19 graduation from the University of Houston and extend to her warmest
1-20 best wishes for success and happiness in her future endeavors; and,
1-21 be it further
1-22 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
1-23 prepared for Ms. Garza as an expression of high esteem by the Texas
1-24 House of Representatives.
