H.R. No. 736 R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, In keeping with the adage that love conquers all, 1-2 Dean Albert Metzger, a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, and 1-3 Julia Elizabeth Little, who is equally proud of her alma mater, The 1-4 University of Texas at Austin, will be united in marriage on June 1-5 12, 1993; and 1-6 WHEREAS, The lovely bride-to-be was born in Austin on June 1-7 14, 1960, and is a 1978 graduate of Austin High School; after 1-8 earning a bachelor of science degree in journalism at The 1-9 University of Texas at Austin in 1982, Ms. Little embarked on a 1-10 career in her chosen profession and is currently employed by 1-11 KDFW-TV Channel 4 in Dallas; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Mr. Metzger also is a native Texan who was born on 1-13 August 15, 1960, in San Antonio and earned his high school diploma 1-14 from Antonian High School in 1978; a certified public accountant, 1-15 he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Texas A&M 1-16 University in December 1982; and 1-17 WHEREAS, This happy couple were first introduced by mutual 1-18 friends on May 22, 1992, while vacationing on South Padre Island 1-19 over the Memorial Day weekend, and immediately succumbed to love at 1-20 first sight; and 1-21 WHEREAS, The union of an Aggie with a Longhorn indeed proves 1-22 that with love anything is possible, and it gives the members of 1-23 this chamber great pleasure to honor these fine Texans on the 1-24 joyous occasion of their wedding; now, therefore, be it 2-1 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas 2-2 Legislature hereby congratulate Dean Albert Metzger and Julia 2-3 Elizabeth Little on their forthcoming marriage and extend sincere 2-4 best wishes to them for a lifetime of happiness together; and, be 2-5 it further 2-6 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-7 prepared for Mr. Metzger and Ms. Little as an expression of high 2-8 regard by the Texas House of Representatives. 2-9 regard by the Texas House of Representatives. 2-10 Kubiak 2-11 H.R.
