                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
    1-2  Glenn L. Brinkman, a longtime Hill Country resident who has made
    1-3  invaluable contributions to the Brangus breeding industry for the
    1-4  past quarter century; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Together with his brother, L. D., this highly
    1-6  regarded gentleman became actively involved in the Brangus breeding
    1-7  industry in November 1968, and throughout the ensuing years, his
    1-8  hard work and dedication have kept him on the leading edge of this
    1-9  highly competitive business; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, A forerunner in the development of bull syndication,
   1-11  Brink's Brangus celebrates its 25th anniversary in Brangus breeding
   1-12  this year; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Mr. Brinkman was instrumental in starting America's
   1-14  Brangus Exposition and Futurity to show the animals and to
   1-15  introduce interested young people and their families to the breed,
   1-16  and he also played a vital role in the formation of the Hill
   1-17  Country Brangus Breeders Association; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, In recognition of his exceptional contributions, the
   1-19  1993 America's Brangus Exposition and Futurity will be dedicated to
   1-20  Mr. Brinkman, and it is indeed fitting that the Texas House of
   1-21  Representatives join with the colleagues and many friends of this
   1-22  distinguished Texan in praising his outstanding record of
   1-23  achievement; now, therefore, be it
   1-24        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
    2-1  Legislature hereby honor Glenn L. Brinkman for his many exemplary
    2-2  contributions to the Brangus breeding industry in Texas and extend
    2-3  to him sincere best wishes for continued success and happiness in
    2-4  the future; and, be it further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
    2-6  prepared for Mr. Brinkman as an expression of high regard by the
    2-7  Texas House of Representatives.
