                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, It has long been the custom of the House of
    1-2  Representatives of the State of Texas to honor the children of its
    1-3  members by electing them to the office of mascot; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, A roster of mascot candidates eligible for this
    1-5  special recognition under the rules of this house has been
    1-6  compiled; now, therefore, be it
    1-7        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
    1-8  Legislature hereby elect the following children of house members to
    1-9  the honorary office of mascot:
   1-10        Carlos Alvarado, Christina Alvarado, Miguel Alvarado, and
   1-11  Rose Marie Alvarado, children of Representative Leo Alvarado;
   1-12        Michael Weston Averitt, Richard Benjamin Averitt, and Daniel
   1-13  Griffin Averitt, sons of Representative Kip Averitt;
   1-14        Ethan Joshua Bailey, son of Representative Kevin Bailey;
   1-15        Garnet Austin Coleman, son of Representative Garnet F.
   1-16  Coleman;
   1-17        David Combs Duran, son of Representative Susan Combs;
   1-18        Katrina Louise Corte and Victoria Ann Corte, daughters of
   1-19  Representative Frank Corte;
   1-20        Lindsey Elizabeth Duncan and Matthew Randall Duncan, children
   1-21  of Representative Robert L. Duncan;
   1-22        Loren Ashley Flores, daughter of Representative Yolanda

   2-16  and, be it further
   2-17        RESOLVED, That pictures of the mascots appear on the picture
   2-18  panel of the Texas House of Representatives and that an official
   2-19  certificate be prepared for each mascot as a memento of this honor.
