Suspending limitations on conference committee

                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State
    1-2  of Texas, 73rd Legislature, Regular Session, 1993, That House Rule
    1-3  13, Section 9(a), be suspended in part as provided by House Rule
    1-4  13, Section 9(f), to enable the conference committee appointed to
    1-5  resolve the differences on Senate Bill No. 702 to consider and take
    1-6  action on the following specific matter:
    1-7        1.  House Rule 13, Sections 9(a)(3) and (4), are suspended to
    1-8  permit the committee to add Section 281.0515, Health and Safety
    1-9  Code, to read as follows:
   1-10        Sec. 281.0515.  PROCEDURES FOR HEALTH MAINTENANCE
   1-11  ORGANIZATION.  A district may establish a health maintenance
   1-12  organization in accordance with the Texas Health Maintenance
   1-13  Organization Act (Chapter 20A, Vernon's Texas Insurance Code) to
   1-14  provide or arrange for health care services for the residents of
   1-15  the district.
   1-16        Explanation:  This change is necessary to grant authority to
   1-17  certain hospital districts to establish health maintenance
   1-18  organizations to provide or arrange for health care services to
   1-19  residents of the districts.
