H.R. No. 812
                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor
    1-2  the members of the 1993 graduating class of Harlandale High School
    1-3  of San Antonio on the tremendous achievement represented by their
    1-4  hard-earned diplomas; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, As these high school seniors approach their
    1-6  long-awaited graduation day, they stand at a crossroads in their
    1-7  young lives; they can look back and celebrate the successful
    1-8  conclusion of one major phase in their journey and they can look
    1-9  forward in anticipation to a bright future full of promise; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, These young men and women have much to look back on,
   1-11  academic and personal achievements great and small, public and
   1-12  private triumphs that have laid the foundations for success; the
   1-13  diplomas they receive at their commencement exercises signify a
   1-14  great accomplishment; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, The graduation of another class of high school
   1-16  seniors is also a great occasion for the State of Texas, for the
   1-17  future generation of leaders will emerge from these classrooms, and
   1-18  our hope for the future is vested in the unlimited potential
   1-19  represented by young men and women such as those now graduating
   1-20  from Harlandale High School; and
   1-21        WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives wishes to join
   1-22  the parents of these fine young Texans as well as the students and
   1-23  faculty of Harlandale High School in expressing justifiable pride
   1-24  in the achievements of this exceptional class of students, and it
    2-1  is appropriate to mark this significant event with special
    2-2  legislative recognition; now, therefore, be it
    2-3        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
    2-4  Legislature hereby congratulate the young men and women of the 1993
    2-5  senior class of Harlandale High School on the momentous occasion of
    2-6  their graduation and extend best wishes for continued success in
    2-7  their future endeavors.
