                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        WHEREAS, Joshua Beers has served with distinction as a
    1-2  legislative aide to Representative Henry Cuellar throughout this
    1-3  legislative session; and
    1-4        WHEREAS, Mr. Beers is a student at The University of Texas at
    1-5  Austin, where he is pursuing an undergraduate degree in economics;
    1-6  while maintaining a strong record of scholastic and professional
    1-7  achievement, he also has  participated in the College Republicans
    1-8  and has been a driver for the Sports Car Club of America; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Throughout his brief tenure with the state, this
   1-10  promising young man has contributed his expertise to the benefit of
   1-11  the constituents of District 43 and has broadened his knowledge of
   1-12  the Texas political process while earning valuable hands-on
   1-13  experience; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Pursuing his interests with confidence and personal
   1-15  pride, Mr. Beers merits special legislative recognition for his
   1-16  many contributions to the legislative process; now, therefore, be
   1-17  it
   1-18        RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 73rd Texas
   1-19  Legislature hereby commend Joshua Beers for his record of service
   1-20  as a legislative employee and extend to him sincere best wishes for
   1-21  continued success and happiness in the years to come; and, be it
   1-22  further
   1-23        RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
   1-24  prepared for Mr. Beers as an expression of the sentiment of the
    2-1  Texas House of Representatives.
