Suspending limitations on conference committee
                           jurisdiction, H.B. No. 1064

                                  R E S O L U T I O N
    1-1        BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State
    1-2  of Texas, 73rd Legislature, Regular Session, 1993, That House Rule
    1-3  13, Section 9(a), be suspended in part as provided by House Rule
    1-4  13, Section 9(f), to enable the conference committee appointed to
    1-5  resolve the differences on House Bill No.  1064 to consider and
    1-6  take action on the following specific matter:
    1-7        House Rule 13, Section 9(a)(2), is suspended to permit the
    1-8  committee to omit the following text, which is not in disagreement:
    1-9              (1)  the addition of Section 21.938, Education Code;
   1-10              (2)  the amendment of Sections 11.273(e), 12.67(a),
   1-11  13.037(c), 13.103, 13.302(a), (c), and (f), 13.303, 13.304,
   1-12  13.353(a) and (e), 13.354(d), 16.158, 16.202, 16.302(a), 19.051(a),
   1-13  21.041, 21.112(e), 21.165(d), 21.174(i), 21.204(a), 21.258(a),
   1-14  21.3011(b), 21.458(a), (b), (e), and (f), 21.601, 21.701, 21.702,
   1-15  and 21.926, Education Code;
   1-16              (3)  the amendment of the heading to Subchapter E,
   1-17  Chapter 13, Education Code;
   1-18              (4)  the repeal of Sections 11.2051, 12.61(a), 12.64,
   1-19  12.67(c), 13.301, 13.305, 13.306(b), 13.307-13.317, 13.319-13.323,
   1-20  13.354(c), 14.065, 16.057, 21.008, 21.034, 21.1111(d),
   1-21  21.132-21.134, 21.251(c), 21.253, 21.301(o), 21.557(d), 21.654,
   1-22  21.909(d), 23.993, 23.994, and 23.999, Education Code;
   1-23              (5)  the amendment of Sections 822.201(b) and
   1-24  825.405(b), Government Code;
    2-1              (6)  the amendment of Section 3(a), Chapter 424, Acts
    2-2  of the 63rd Legislature, Regular Session, 1973 (Article 6252-17a,
    2-3  Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes); and
    2-4              (7)  the amendment of Section 5(a), Chapter 173, Acts
    2-5  of the 47th Legislature, Regular Session, 1941 (Article 6687b,
    2-6  Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes).
    2-7        Explanation:  The change is necessary because similar
    2-8  provisions are included in S.B. No. 7, 73rd Legislature, Regular
    2-9  Session, 1993.
