  3-1                          COMMITTEE AMENDMENT NO. 1
  3-2     Amend S.B. 112, Section 1 by deleting the following:
  3-3     "Article 2, Chapter 221, Acts of the 69th Legislature, Regular
  3-4     Session, 1985 (Article 6674v-3, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), is
  3-5     amended by adding Section 18 to read as follows:
  3-6     Sec. 18.  REGULATION ON STATE HIGHWAY 288."
  3-7     and insert the following:
  3-8     "Chapter 741, Acts of the 67th Legislature, Regular Session, 1981,
  3-9     Article 4477-9a, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes (The Litter
 3-10     Abatement Act) is amended by adding Section 4.13 to read as
 3-11     follows:
 3-12     Sec. 4.13.  REGULATION ON STATE HIGHWAY 288."

 3-15     Amend S.B. 112, Section 1 by adding subsection (f) to read as
 3-16     follows:
 3-17     (f)  Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit any
 3-18     authority granted to the Texas Department of Transportation under
 3-19     this Act.
