No. 347, SECTION 1, by deleting Section 102.07(e) (page 1-23 1, lines 35-38), and substituting the following: 1-24 (e) Notwithstanding Subsection (a) of this section, brewers, 1-25 distillers, manufacturers, nonresident manufacturers, nonresident 1-26 sellers, and wineries may compensate a mixed beverage permittee for 1-27 advertising or promotional activities to promote the brand name of 1-28 the product advertised. 1-29 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 1-30 AN ACT 1-31 relating to advertising by a mixed beverage permittee. 1-32 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: 1-33 SECTION 1. Section 102.07, Alcoholic Beverage Code, is 1-34 amended by adding Subsection (e) to read as follows: 1-35 (e) Notwithstanding Subsection (a) of this section, brewers 1-36 and distillers may compensate a mixed beverage permittee for 1-37 advertising or promotional activities to promote the brand name of 1-38 the product advertised. 1-39 SECTION 2.
