  3-1                          COMMITTEE AMENDMENT NO. 1
  3-2           Amend S.B. 426 in Section 1, in added Section 61.506,
  3-3     Education Code (engrossed version, page 2, between lines 2 and 3),
  3-4     by adding Subsections (f), (g), and (h) to read as follows:
  3-5           (f)  Before the end of the fiscal biennium that begins on
  3-6     September 1, 1993, the state auditor shall:
  3-7                 (1)  review, in accordance with Chapter 321, Government
  3-8     Code, the three pilot programs established under this section; and
  3-9                 (2)  send a copy of the review to the comptroller.
 3-10           (g)  On September 1, 1995, the three pilot programs
 3-11     established under this section are abolished.
 3-12           (h)  This section expires January 1, 1996.
