  7-1                          COMMITTEE AMENDMENT NO. 1
  7-2           Amend S.B. 441, Section 47.0111 by striking the entire
  7-3     section and inserting the following:
  7-4           "Section 47.0111.  PURCHASE OF AQUATIC PRODUCTS BY RETAIL
  7-5     FISH DEALERS.
  7-6           No retail fish dealer may purchase for resale or receive for
  7-7     sale, barter, exchange, or any other commercial purposes any
  7-8     aquatic products from any person or entity in this state unless he
  7-9     purchases the product from the holder of:
 7-10                 (1)  a wholesale fish dealer's license;
 7-11                 (2)  a general commercial fisherman's license when the
 7-12     retail fish dealer has given written notification to the Executive
 7-13     Director of the department or his designee of the dealer's intent
 7-14     to purchase aquatic products from the holder of a general
 7-15     commercial fisherman's license; or
 7-16                 (3)  a fish farmer's license."
