Subsection (d), Section 292.001, Local Government 1-20 Code, is amended to read as follows: 1-21 (d) A justice of the peace court may not be housed or 1-22 conducted in a building located outside the court's precinct except 1-23 as provided by Section 27.051(f), Government Code, or unless the 1-24 justice of the peace court is situated in the county courthouse in 1-25 a county with a population of at least 220,000 persons but no more 1-26 than 230,000 persons. 1-27 SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 1993. 1-28 SECTION 3.
