8-1 COMMITTEE AMENDMENT NO. 1
8-2 Amend S.B. 873 as follows:
8-3 (1) On page 2, line 8, strike "<body rubber,>" and
8-4 substitute "body rubber,".
8-5 (2) Insert the following appropriately numbered section to
8-6 read as follows:
8-7 SECTION 4. Chapter 752, Acts of the 69th Legislature,
8-8 Regular Session, 1985 (Article 4512k, Vernon's Texas Civil
8-9 Statutes), is amended by adding Section 7E to read as follows:
8-10 Sec. 7E. ENFORCEMENT OF CERTAIN DEPARTMENT REGULATIONS. The
8-11 department and the agency that licenses and regulates proprietary
8-12 schools may by agreement provide for the assistance of the agency
8-13 in administering the provisions of this Act relating to massage
8-14 schools, school-based massage therapy instructors, and independent
8-15 massage therapy instructors.
8-16 (3) Renumber the remaining sections of the bill.
