  24-1                         COMMITTEE AMENDMENT NO. 1
  24-2          Amend S.B. 1206 by the following:
  24-3          1.  Amend Sec. 403.001(a) on page 1, line 7, by deleting
  24-4    "three" and substituting "six".
  24-5          2.  Amend Sec. 3.01 on page 5, line 13, by deleting "three"
  24-6    and substituting "six".
  24-7          3.  Amend 3.04 on page 7, line 1, by deleting "all three" and
  24-8    substituting "at least four".
  24-9          4.  Amend Sec. 7.06 on page 18, line 18, by deleting
 24-10    "four-fifths" and substituting "seven-eighths".
 24-11          5.  Amend Sec. 7.07(2) on page 19, line 17, by deleting
 24-12    "three" and substituting "six".
 24-13          6.  Delete SECTION 2 on page 22, and substitute the
 24-14    following:
 24-15          SECTION 2.  The Governor shall make the initial appointment
 24-16    required by Section 403.001, Health and Safety Code, as added by
 24-17    the Act, by appointing two commissioners to serve a six-year term,
 24-18    two commissioners to serve a four-year term, and two commissioners
 24-19    to serve a two-year term.
