No. 3 By: Haley 1-17 SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 1-18 WHEREAS, The Texas DeMolay Association is widely acclaimed 1-19 and esteemed for its success in developing leadership and in 1-20 nurturing good citizenship and patriotism in young men; and 1-21 WHEREAS, The Texas DeMolay Association is sponsoring a 1-22 legislative seminar to educate its members in the process of 1-23 democratic government, both in theory and in practice; and 1-24 WHEREAS, This valuable and comprehensive educational program 1-25 will attract participants from throughout the state to acquaint 1-26 DeMolay members with legislative procedures; and 1-27 WHEREAS, The DeMolay legislative seminar is to be held in 1-28 Austin on February 20 and 21, 1993, and February 26 and 27, 1994; 1-29 and 1-30 WHEREAS, The Texas Legislature heartily endorses the goals 1-31 and ideals of the Texas DeMolay Association legislative seminar; 1-32 now, therefore, be it 1-33 RESOLVED by the 73rd Texas Legislature, That, in accordance 1-34 with senate and house rules of procedure and policies of the Senate 1-35 Administration Committee and House Administration Committee, the 1-36 Texas DeMolay Association be hereby granted permission to use the 1-37 Senate Finance Committee Room in the Capitol Extension and the 1-38 chamber of the house of representatives in the State Capitol on 1-39 February 20 and 21, 1993, and February 26 and 27, 1994, for its 1-40 legislative seminar, unless the Texas Senate and House of 1-41 Representatives are in session on those dates. 1-42 * * * * * 1-43 Austin, 1-44 Texas 1-45 February 3, 1993 1-46 Hon.
