S.C.R. No. 73
                             SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
    1-1        WHEREAS, The citizens of San Antonio mourn the untimely loss
    1-2  of Graciela Inocencio Trevino who died March 31, 1993; and
    1-3        WHEREAS, A native Texan, Mrs. Trevino was born on October 11,
    1-4  1959, in Lytle; after graduating from high school, she began her
    1-5  life's work as a secretary for a law firm; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Noted for her attention to detail and loyalty to her
    1-7  employers, Mrs. Trevino enjoyed an enviable reputation in the San
    1-8  Antonio legal community; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Forthright, honest, and intelligent, Mrs. Trevino
   1-10  excelled in her work as an office manager for State Representative
   1-11  Leo Alvarado for five years; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, A devoted mother, Mrs. Trevino donated her time and
   1-13  talents to the Parent-Teacher Association at Saint James Catholic
   1-14  School; a warm and giving woman, she assisted at the school and the
   1-15  church in any capacity that was required, always putting the needs
   1-16  of others ahead of her own; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, Living Christ's gospel message of love in her daily
   1-18  life, Mrs. Trevino was known for her ability to forgive a hurt and
   1-19  repay rudeness and hostility with a kind word; and
   1-20        WHEREAS, Cherished as a true friend by all who knew her,
   1-21  Graciela Inocencio Trevino will be remembered with appreciation for
   1-22  the gift of love she bestowed on her family and friends; now,
   1-23  therefore, be it
    2-1        RESOLVED, That the 73rd Legislature of the State of Texas
    2-2  hereby extend sincere condolences to the members of her family on
    2-3  their grievous loss:  her son, Michael Anthony Trevino; her sister,
    2-4  Maria Eliza Jimenez; her brother, Roland Salazar; and her
    2-5  godmother, Lupe R. Trevino; and, be it further
    2-6        RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be prepared for the
    2-7  members of her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the
    2-8  Texas Legislature, and that when the legislature adjourns this day,
    2-9  it do so in memory of Graciela Inocencio Trevino.
