    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure
    1-3  in recognizing William Dojahn for his 32 years of loyal service
    1-4  on the faculty of Angleton High School; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, Mr. Dojahn began his outstanding career in 1960
    1-6  when he joined the faculty at Angleton High School as a mathematics
    1-7  teacher; he has since taught students in algebra, trigonometry, and
    1-8  elementary analysis, averaging 100 students per year; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, Throughout the years, Mr. Dojahn dedicated his
   1-10  life to his students and was an innovative, resourceful, and
   1-11  enthusiastic educator; and
   1-12        WHEREAS, A positive influence in the lives of his students,
   1-13  he willingly gave of his time and energy to help them with their
   1-14  work, and he instilled in his students a sense of pride and a
   1-15  lifelong love of learning; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, William Dojahn provided his pupils with the skills
   1-17  necessary to compete in the society of tomorrow, and the
   1-18  State of Texas has greatly benefitted from the diligence and
   1-19  hard work of this talented educator; now, therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  73rd Legislature, hereby commend William Dojahn for his superb
   1-22  contributions to Angleton High School and to the educational system
   1-23  of Texas and extend best wishes to him for a rewarding retirement;
    2-1  and, be it further
    2-2        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-3  him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
