No. 37 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure 1-3 in recognizing Georgia Isbell for her recent selection as the 1-4 Secretary of the Year by the Bryan Educational Secretaries 1-5 Association; and 1-6 WHEREAS, Her diligence and ability in the performance of 1-7 her duties over the past 18 years have earned her the respect and 1-8 admiration of her associates; and 1-9 WHEREAS, A warm and compassionate individual, Ms. Isbell 1-10 works calmly and effectively with parents, school personnel, and 1-11 administrators in a busy, sometimes stressful, environment; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Serving as secretary for the elementary and 1-13 secondary education directors, Ms. Isbell quietly accomplishes 1-14 her tasks and often works overtime until all her assignments are 1-15 completed; and 1-16 WHEREAS, Her gracious manner and professional knowledge 1-17 have been valuable assets to those who have learned to depend 1-18 on her for assistance; and 1-19 WHEREAS, The students, parents, teachers, and 1-20 administrators of the Bryan school system have all benefitted 1-21 from her conscientious work and careful attention to detail in 1-22 maintaining a smooth-running office; now, therefore, be it 1-23 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 2-1 73rd Legislature, hereby commend Georgia Isbell for her superb 2-2 contributions to the Bryan school district and extend best wishes 2-3 to her for many more rewarding years ahead; and, be it further 2-4 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared 2-5 for this valuable secretary as an expression of the high 2-6 regard of the Texas Senate. 2-7 _____________________________________ 2-8 President of the Senate 2-9 I hereby certify that the 2-10 above Resolution was adopted by 2-11 the Senate on January 14, 1993. 2-12 _____________________________________ 2-13 Secretary of the Senate 2-14 _____________________________________ 2-15 Member, Texas Senate
