No. 38 1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-2 WHEREAS, Sixty-seven years ago, on December 27, 1925, 1-3 Martin Redwine and Annie Pearl Collier placed great faith and 1-4 trust in the future and they have been amply rewarded as they 1-5 recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary; and 1-6 WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during 1-7 the years of their marriage yet Mr. and Mrs. Redwine have 1-8 steadfastly embraced traditional family and moral values; and 1-9 WHEREAS, Over the years, they have grown stronger in their 1-10 love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys and 1-11 sorrows of everyday living; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Residents of Palestine, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Redwine 1-13 are exemplary citizens and have formed many deep and lasting 1-14 friendships in their community; and 1-15 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Redwine shared their happiness with 1-16 their family and friends who visited them during the holiday 1-17 season; and 1-18 WHEREAS, The long and happy union of Mr. and Mrs. Redwine 1-19 is truly an inspiration to us all; now, therefore, be it 1-20 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-21 73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to 1-22 Mr. and Mrs. Martin Redwine on their 67th wedding anniversary; 1-23 and, be it further 2-1 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this 2-2 distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in their lives. 2-3 _____________________________________ 2-4 President of the Senate 2-5 I hereby certify that the 2-6 above Resolution was adopted by 2-7 the Senate on January 14, 1993. 2-8 _____________________________________ 2-9 Secretary of the Senate 2-10 _____________________________________ 2-11 Member, Texas Senate
