    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to offer
    1-3  congratulations to Sue Ann Sims Setzler and William Ross Setzler III
    1-4  on the birth of their handsome baby boy, Giles McKinnie Setzler, on
    1-5  January 6, 1993; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, The birth of a baby is one of the most cherished
    1-7  events in the life of a couple; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Now that the long-anticipated event has occurred,
    1-9  Sue Ann and Ross are enjoying feelings of pride and joy; and
   1-10        WHEREAS, Weighing eight pounds and 12 ounces at birth, the
   1-11  healthy baby lustily expressed his happiness at being the newest
   1-12  member of a growing family; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Friends and relatives of the family received the
   1-14  exciting news with expressions of love and shared delight; and
   1-15        WHEREAS, Giles's siblings, Sims Abigail Setzler, 5,
   1-16  William "Wills" Ross Setzler IV, 4, and Bailey Lowe Setzler, 2,
   1-17  happily welcomed the newcomer to their family; and
   1-18        WHEREAS, The maternal grandparents,
   1-19  Senator William "Bill" McKinnie Sims and Sue Lowe Sims,
   1-20  and the paternal grandparents, William "Bill" Ross Setzler, Jr.,
   1-21  and Jan Setzler, are understandably taking great pride in the
   1-22  arrival of their latest grandchild; and
   1-23        WHEREAS, It is truly fitting that the Texas Senate recognize
    2-1  Giles Setzler as a treasured newborn citizen of Marlin, Texas; now,
    2-2  therefore, be it
    2-3        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-4  73rd Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Sue Ann Setzler
    2-5  and Ross Setzler and warm greetings to Giles McKinnie Setzler with
    2-6  best wishes for much future happiness; and, be it further
    2-7        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for the
    2-8  Setzler family as an expression of regard from the Texas Senate.
