    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, Fifty years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Billy G. Yarbrough
    1-3  of Abilene placed much faith and trust in the future which have
    1-4  been amply rewarded for they recently celebrated their
    1-5  50th wedding anniversary; and
    1-6        WHEREAS, Gusolyn Hall and Billy Yarbrough were married
    1-7  on January 19, 1943, in College Station; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, The world has changed greatly during the
    1-9  intervening years, yet Mr. and Mrs. Yarbrough have clung
   1-10  steadfastly to traditional family and moral values; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Yarbrough have been blessed with a
   1-12  wonderful family:  their children, David and Gina Yarbrough and
   1-13  Bill Hall Yarbrough; and their two grandchildren; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. and Mrs. Yarbrough have
   1-15  grown ever stronger in love and devotion as together they have
   1-16  experienced the joys and sorrows of everyday living; and
   1-17        WHEREAS, The love and respect they share are shining
   1-18  examples to all who are fortunate enough to know them; now,
   1-19  therefore, be it
   1-20        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-21  73rd Legislature, hereby join with the relatives and friends
   1-22  of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Yarbrough in extending them best wishes
   1-23  and congratulations on their 50th wedding anniversary; and, be
    2-1  it further
    2-2        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-3  this distinguished couple as a memento of this grand occasion.
