    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes great
    1-3  pleasure in welcoming Joe Cent of Glasgow, Scotland, who is
    1-4  visiting the State of Texas; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, A cultured and erudite gentleman, Mr. Cent is a
    1-6  renowned tour guide who frequently conducts tours throughout the
    1-7  world, especially in Turkey, Albania, Russia, France, and other
    1-8  European countries; and
    1-9        WHEREAS, It is an honor and privilege to have such a
   1-10  distinguished visitor as Mr. Cent in our midst; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, During his visit to the Lone Star State, Mr. Cent
   1-12  will renew his ties of friendship with former members of his tour
   1-13  group who are residents of Corpus Christi; and
   1-14        WHEREAS, His friends are eagerly looking forward to
   1-15  sharing their favorite area attractions with Mr. Cent; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, The Texas Senate expresses its best wishes for
   1-17  a most enjoyable stay during Mr. Cent's sojourn here; now,
   1-18  therefore, be it
   1-19        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
   1-20  73rd Legislature, hereby extend a warm welcome to Joe Cent and
   1-21  declare him an Honorary Texan with all attendant rights and
   1-22  privileges thereof; and, be it further
   1-23        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
    2-1  him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
