    1-1                           SENATE RESOLUTION
    1-2        WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to
    1-3  recognize Master Sergeant Wesley Feudner for receiving the
    1-4  Randolph First Sergeant of the Year Award recently; and
    1-5        WHEREAS, The 21-year Air Force veteran was honored for his
    1-6  exceptional contributions to the members of his squadron and his
    1-7  generosity to the citizens of his community; and
    1-8        WHEREAS, Sergeant Feudner has earned the admiration and
    1-9  respect of his colleagues and has been instrumental in encouraging
   1-10  others to participate in volunteer programs; and
   1-11        WHEREAS, An excellent role model, Sergeant Feudner has
   1-12  instilled a spirit of goodwill throughout the squadron; and
   1-13        WHEREAS, Active in community efforts, Sergeant Feudner is
   1-14  involved in counseling and aiding people in alcohol and drug
   1-15  recovery programs; and
   1-16        WHEREAS, Responsible for securing counseling and financial
   1-17  aid for families suffering from severe hardships, including
   1-18  Florida's Homestead Air Force Base hurricane disaster, he has
   1-19  organized support for Randolph's annual "Operation Warm Heart" for
   1-20  needy families; and
   1-21        WHEREAS, His selfless devotion to the 12th Supply Squadron and
   1-22  to the citizens of Randolph is an inspiration to those around him to
   1-23  strive for excellence; now, therefore, be it
    2-1        RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
    2-2  73rd Legislature, hereby commend Master Sergeant Wesley Feudner
    2-3  for his many generous services to the 12th Supply Squadron and to
    2-4  those whose lives he has touched; and, be it further
    2-5        RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him
    2-6  as an expression of the high regard of the Texas Senate.
