1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION
1-2 WHEREAS, Fifty years ago, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Hoyt of
1-3 Georgetown, Texas, placed great faith and trust in the future and
1-4 they have been amply rewarded as they recently celebrated their
1-5 50th wedding anniversary; and
1-6 WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the
1-7 years throughout their marriage yet A. W. and Blanche have
1-8 steadfastly embraced traditional family and moral values; and
1-9 WHEREAS, Over the years, the beloved couple has grown
1-10 stronger in their friendship and devotion as together they have
1-11 experienced the joys and sorrows of everyday living; and
1-12 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt have been blessed with a
1-13 wonderful family; and
1-14 WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt shared their happiness with
1-15 their family and friends at an open house hosted by their children,
1-16 John and Susan Hoyt, on January 10, 1993; now, therefore, be it
1-17 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-18 73rd Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
1-19 Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Hoyt on their golden wedding anniversary; and,
1-20 be it further
1-21 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
1-22 this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in
1-23 their lives.
